The fun, upbeat music made us tap our feet as we gave away mums, begonias, verbena, and swamp milkweed seeds to over 300 festival goers. Also, a few ‘Harvest’ Cookbooks were sold. Several people asked about joining Master Gardeners or renewing a lapsed membership. We talked with visitors about local invasive plants and how they compared with other plants in different parts of the world. If friends stopped by and one did not speak English, they took the time to translate. Tamara Morrical shared new Spanish words with us to help us better understand. It was a joy to visit with people from all around the globe and to hear the sounds of music and laughter on a bright sunny afternoon.
