“Hopes for a New Era” is the theme of this year’s Annual Tri-State Creation Care Conference which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20th, 9:00 am to noon. The conference will be held at Aldersgate UMC, 5130 Lincoln Ave, Evansville.  Registration begins at 8:30.  

In these times that too often offer a bleak outlook for earth care, we need to stay connected to sources of hope.  We will listen to Dr. Ben Brabson speak on the threats that a warming planet poses to agriculture and ecosystems, and then hear messages of hope from four local religious leaders representing different faith backgrounds.  There will also be a breakout session time featuring topics on solar energy, protecting our pollinators and organic farming.  

The event is free and open to the public.  There will be a door prize raffle of creation care art work.  Please come with your friends.  See this flyer for more detailed information.
