Trip to Biltmore Estates, Asheville, NC
September 5, 2018 - September 7, 2018
Travel with us to view Chihuly at the Biltmore, Asheville, North Carolina. What more do I need to say? If you have never seen a Chihuly exhibit, or never been to the Biltmore, this will be the time to go!
The Biltmore was constructed in 1889-1895, with the landscaped grounds designed by Frederic Law Ollmstead. The house opened to the public in 1930. We will have a tour of the house, and lunch at the Deerpark Restaurant. We will also be visiting the Folk Art Center which is home to the Southern Highland Craft Guild on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It features traditional and contemporary crafts of the southern Appalachians. The Guild includes 900 juried members from 9 states.
We will then have the highlight of the trip, Chihuly Nights, including dinner! The exhibit will be located in the gardens themselves, and is illuminated at night. It will be an absolutely breathtaking site.
This trip is scheduled for Sept 5-7, 2018 and includes 5 meals and two nights lodging at the 4 star Inn on Biltmore Estate.
The cost for this trip, if booked by Dec 15 2017 is $748.
